Lafferty Motorsports is a NASCAR race team competing on the biggest racing platform, the Camping World Truck Series of NASCAR. Lafferty Motorsports is an up-and-coming team in the NASCAR world with a lot of new and innovative ideas that will ensure a top spot in this booming industry. Not only is Lafferty involved in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, but also the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, and NASCAR Weekly Racing Street Stock and Late Model divisions. Alongside racing, Lafferty also creates engines, has a driver development program, and is in the process of creating a reality television series.
Lafferty Engines have been first runner-up as well as a semi-finalist in the Clevite Engine Builders Challenge, proving themselves as one of the finest engine builders in NASCAR. Lafferty is on a mission to prove their knowledge, determination, and ability to create the best engines possible! With a television show set to air soon, a racing parts and engine building manufacturing and distribution business, a NASCAR Driver Development program, and of course our race team, it's clear that Lafferty Motorsports is here to stay! Chris Lafferty moved to North Carolina in 1998 with only his goals and dreams of success in racing in tow. Competing in the prestigious Clevite Engine Builders Challenge twice, Chris was considered one of NASCAR's best engine builders and has written for some of the most reputable magazines in racing including Circle Track Magazine, Stock Car Magazine, and Speedway Illustrated.
In the beginning, Lafferty was all about developing the best Racing Engines in the world. From that Chris Lafferty decided he was going to pursue his dream of starting a NASCAR race team. President & Chief Executive Officer of Lafferty Motorsports, Chris Lafferty, knew entering the world of NASCAR would be one of the biggest challenges to tackle but that was the excitement of it all. Chris entered racing very young and without the financial backing that team owners need, but with his perseverance, nothing could stop him. Lafferty Motorsports started in 2003 and has been growing to great lengths ever since. Any idea you can think of concerning racing, Chris will try and make it a reality. From engines, to racing, to entertainment - Lafferty Motorsports has got it all covered! Lafferty Motorsports has steadily grown year after year and now currently competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, as well as our local developmental programs in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Late Model and Street Stock divisions. After setting the ground work for a solid foundation, Lafferty has now become the primary driver for Lafferty Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as well as ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Chris still works diligently with his driver development program to develop new talent and provide opportunities for those who need a helping hand. "We are now competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series among the biggest names in the industry on the largest stages in the world. We're also manufacturing and distributing our own exclusive line of racing parts and accessories. We're still building and selling the best engines in NASCAR and we are now making them available to the general public. Plus we're launching our own television show soon to air in the upcoming months; looking back I'd say the decision to enter the world of NASCAR was the right one.
