Lafferty to Pocono; Recap of Nashville, Indy
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 4, 2011
CONCORD, N.C. – The Lafferty Motorsports team is preparing for action this weekend at Pocono Raceway for the Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service 125. This will mark the third straight week of appearances by driver Chris Lafferty and his Lafferty Motorsports team, showing the commitment and ability to race consistently week in and week out.
Two weeks ago, it was Nashville Superspeedway where driver Chris Lafferty would start the race in the back of the pack. The night ended only 16 laps into the event with rear gear troubles. "We had a good truck," Lafferty said, "we were able to move up some spots and finished 31st."
Last week, Lafferty and the Camping World Truck Series took to the track at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, IN. The day would end early, the result of a late practice crash. "We had a really good truck, able to turn about 20 laps in practice," said Lafferty, "we were passing a lot of good trucks on the track before the unfortunate incident."
