Post-Race: Iowa
July 15, 2012
(Newton, IA) – Chris Lafferty made his first career start at the 0.875-mile Iowa Speedway in the American Ethanol 200. Lafferty would put the No. 0 Driven2Honor RAM strongly in the show out qualifying a number of trucks and picking up an impressive half-second from practice to qualifying.
While Chris’s day would come to an early end due to engine issues, much valuable information was gained and many heads turned with the very impressive qualifying run. Up next for Lafferty will be the American Ethanol 225 at Chicagoland Speedway on July 21.
