Pre-Race: Kentucky
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 27, 2013
CONCORD, N.C. – Chris Lafferty is at the Kentucky Speedway this weekend for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 225 where he will pilot the No. 0 Driven2Honor Ford in his second start at the 1.5 mile speedway. Lafferty will also be sporting his Blue Ox fire suit this weekend.
This weekend will also see Chris running an engine out of the Lafferty Engines shop marked with Chris’ trademark cat yellow painted engine block.
“This track is special,” said Lafferty. “When Kentucky Speedway first opened, the southeast tour cars were the first things to qualify and my engine was the pole sitter for that race , which we followed up with the pole winning engine for three straight years after that.”
All of the racing action can be seen live on SPEED on Thursday beginning with NCWTS Setup with host Krista Voda at 7:30 followed by racing at 8 p.m.
